Meet the Professionals

Devin Bibeau - Director of Instruction

Devin brings to Stow Acres a lifelong passion for the game of golf. He has been teaching the game since he completed playing Division 1 collegiate golf at Temple University where he captained the Owls for three seasons. While a sophomore at Temple he captured the 2010 Massachusetts Public Links Championship by a record 6 shots. The following year as defending champion, Devin shot a final round 66 to just miss defending the championship. During his senior campaign at Temple, he finished fifth overall at the Atlantic 10 Championships in Florida.

Over the past 11 years, Devin has worked as an Assistant Professional and also a Head Golf Professional at two Massachusetts golf courses. During his tenure at these clubs he has taught golfers of all abilities. He enjoys working with all levels of amateur golfers and has taught professional mini-tour players as well as Junior Golfers that have gone on to receive D1 & D2 golf scholarships.

Devin takes pride in helping all of his students reach their full golfing potential. By teaching them to fully understand the fundamentals of the golf swing and how to take their swing to the course through preparation, his students are equipped to lower their scores and gain better enjoyment from their game.

Eric Karpinski  - PGA Teaching Professional

Eric brings over 10 years of teaching experience and has been certified with the PGA of America since 2019. He was born in upstate New York and moved to the Lowell area in 1995 and is a graduate of Dracut High School. He was captain of the Dracut High School golf team and won the Merrimack Valley Conference Championship in 2006 at Vesper Country Club. Eric played 3 years of DII golf at UMass Lowell and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. His experience as a golf professional stems from his 13 years at Vesper Country Club where he started as a caddie and worked his way up to positions in the bag room and Assistant Golf Professional. For the last 10 years Eric has been Director of Golf Operations of an indoor golf facility in Middleton, MA where he ran expansion and rebranding projects while growing their new golf school. Eric’s teaching philosophy is not a one size fits all method.
