2 Day Senior Golf School

 

OVERVIEW & PURPOSE

The 2 Day Senior Golf School topics covered include; putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, iron play, fairway woods/hybrids and driving. This program is designed for any woman interested in becoming a better golfer. The Two Day Senior School will benefit any player, from first timers to competitive golfers over 50; the professional will demonstrate the fundamentals of each shot then as students start practicing the instructor give each student individualized instruction. The maximum student to teacher ratio is 4 students to 1 Professional. Lessons will take place on the practice greens, the lesson tee, the “Hawk” short game facility and usually on the golf course when available.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Improve every aspect of the student’s golf game

  2. Leave with a short term practice plan

  3. PLAY BETTER GOLF AND HAVE MORE FUN!

MATERIALS NEEDED

  1. Bring your full set of clubs (rental clubs and club fittings can be included)

  2. Proper golf attire is preferred

Sample Schedule

Day 1

8:30 Students are invited to have breakfast at the Champion’s Grille

9:00 Students meet in the Golf School building for an introduction

9:35- 10:00 Putting

10:05-11:00 Chipping

11:05-12:00 Pitching

12:00- 12:30 Lunch at the Champion’s Grille with your professional

12:35-1:00 Full Swing Irons

Day 2

8:30 Students are invited to have breakfast at the Champion’s Grille

9:00- 9:30 Awkward Distance Wedges

10:05- 11:00 Fairway Woods

11:05-12:00 Driving

12:00- 12:30 Lunch at the Champion’s Grille with your professional

12:35-1:00 Video Review (with detailed practice plan)

 

*Tee times between 2:30 and 3:30  can be made in advance on most days for students to put their new skills to the test on the course immediately after the school.
